An entryway table is the piece that stands in the entrance of a home, holding keys, post, a lamp or flowers, and giving the first impression of everything behind it. This one is solid teak, hand-carved by master Indian artisans and gilded, and it comes with a matching three panel mirror.

The table is drawn on straight legs rather than curved ones, which gives the arrangement a formal, architectural footing and keeps the floor line clean. Carving runs down each leg, gathers into a cartouche at the centre of the apron, and reappears on the shaped stretcher below.

The mirror above is divided by carved mullions into three arched panels and finished with a pierced crest, so it reads as a screen rather than a single sheet of glass.

Every set is made to order and fully customisable. Table length, depth and height, mirror height and marble colour are all yours to specify, with custom sizes made to order and exact dimensions confirmed in writing before production. Both pieces carry a 20-year warranty on the solid teak frame and joinery plus lifetime termite cover, and delivery is free anywhere in India.

The three panels in this mirror are not a decorative choice made after the fact. They are the reason a mirror this wide can be built at all.

A single plate spanning the full width would be a large, thin, rigid sheet held in a frame that is none of those things. Timber moves a little, frames flex a little when they are lifted, and glass tolerates neither. Dividing the opening into three, with carved mullions between, means each plate is a modest size and each sits in its own rebate. If the frame shifts by a hair, the movement is shared between three small openings instead of concentrating at the corners of one big one.

The mullions earn their keep structurally as well. A wide frame with a single opening is a rectangle waiting to rack; two vertical members running from the base rail to the arched head turn it into three braced bays. Our master Indian artisans carve those mullions as part of the design, so what is doing the engineering also reads as ornament.

The arches at the top of each panel are set out from one centre so the three heads rise together rather than each finding its own line.

Material: solid teak throughout, table and mirror frame, hand-carved. No veneer, no engineered board.

Table: carved straight legs, apron with a central scrolled cartouche and carved corner blocks, shaped stretcher with a carved boss, turned feet.

Top: marble slab with a hand-moulded edge.

Mirror: three arched plates divided by carved mullions, pierced side scrolls and a pierced crest, each plate held in its own rebate.

Finish: hand-applied gilding over the carved timber, sealed for durability, matched across both pieces.

Sizes: custom sizes made to order - final measurements confirmed in writing before production, including the combined height.

Warranty: 20 years on the solid teak frames and joinery; lifetime cover against termite damage.

Photography: images show the actual product, not renders.

The mirror is packed as a single unit with all three plates in place, braced across its width so the frame cannot flex during handling. Each plate is cushioned across its full surface, and the carved mullions and pierced crest are supported on both faces with shaped blocks so nothing can rock against the glass.

The table is wrapped first in a soft non-abrasive layer laid against the gilding, then in foam shaped around the carved corner blocks, the apron cartouche and the stretcher boss rather than pressed against them. The feet are separately protected.

The marble travels flat on a padded board with guards on all four edges, packed apart from both frames so no weight rests on it.

Each element goes into a rigid outer crate with cushioning around every face and is strapped so nothing shifts. This multi-layer protective packaging is why dent-free arrival is guaranteed. Please unpack everything while the delivery team is present.

Delivery is free anywhere in India for the complete set. No freight charge, no distance surcharge, no difference between a metro address and a smaller town.

The set is made to order, so production begins once your table dimensions, mirror height, marble and finish are confirmed in writing. We give you the timeline then and keep you updated through carving, gilding and glazing.

Crates travel together with a carrier used to handling carved furniture, stone and mirror glass, and you are contacted before delivery so someone can be present to receive and inspect the set.

Arrival is guaranteed dent-free. If transit damage occurs, photograph it with the delivery team present and contact us - we will resolve it. On site the marble is laid onto the table first and the mirror positioned above it. Because the mirror is tall, we recommend securing it to the wall; tell us before production and the fixings are built into the frame.

The solid teak frames and their joinery are covered for 20 years from the date the set reaches you - the table's leg joints, apron, stretcher and feet, and the mirror frame's base rail, mullions, arched head and crest joints.

Lifetime cover against termite damage applies to both pieces for as long as the furniture exists. Seasoned solid teak carries oils that termites will not attack, and with both pieces built in teak throughout there is no softer core anywhere for them to find.

If a warranty issue arises, send us photographs and we will assess and repair or replace. Because the mirror is glazed in three separate plates, work on one panel can be carried out without disturbing the other two - a practical advantage of the way it is built. Repairs to carved gilded surfaces are done in the original techniques so the finish matches. Both warranties apply anywhere in India and travel with the furniture.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about this product.

Yes. The entryway table and the three panel mirror are built together as a matched set, carved in the same style and gilded to the same tone, and delivered together.

Partly for the way it looks, and partly because it is a better way to build a wide mirror. Three smaller plates in three rebates are more forgiving of movement than one large sheet, and the carved mullions between them brace the frame.

Yes. Either piece can be built separately and we adjust the proportions so it stands correctly by itself. Just tell us which you want.

Yes. Table length, depth and height and the mirror height are all specified by you, and the carving is redrawn to suit the proportion. Custom sizes are made to order with exact dimensions confirmed in writing before production.

We recommend it, since the frame is tall. Tell us before production and the fixings are built into the back of the frame so it can be secured with nothing visible from the front.

Yes. The top can be built in white, cream, grey, green, black or a strongly veined stone, and the moulded edge is cut to follow whichever slab you choose.

20 years on the solid teak frames and joinery for both pieces, plus lifetime cover against termite damage, anywhere in India.
