Packaging and Transit Protection

A bedroom set ships as many crates and the risk is mismatching on site, so every crate is numbered against a packing schedule listing each component and the piece it belongs to. Drawers travel out of their carcasses, individually wrapped and labelled to their cabinet, since drawers from matching side tables look identical but are fitted individually to their own openings.

Craftsmanship Assurance and Care

Our craftsmanship assurance covers the solid teak frames, joinery, drawer runners and hand-carving across every piece in the set. If a joint works loose, a drawer binds or a carved element separates because of a fault in the making - rather than through impact, misuse or an attempted self-repair - we repair or replace it. Upholstery and foam are consumable components covered separately.

Keep the order paperwork. On a commissioned set, the finish specification and batch reference are what allow us to match an additional piece years later, or to refinish one item without it standing out from the rest. Without them it is guesswork. Clean all pieces on the same schedule so they age together - a side table dusted weekly beside a wardrobe dusted twice a year will diverge visibly. Use a clean dry soft brush on gilded carving, never a cloth. Vacuum the tufted headboard panels with a brush attachment. Keep the whole set out of direct sunlight, since ivory yellows and uneven exposure across a set is very noticeable.
