Every great house had its coat of arms — a visual language of lineage, values, and power. The shield at its centre bore the family's symbols. The supporters — often lions — stood as guardians of everything the family held dear. The crest above declared their motto to the world.
The Heraldic Coat of Arms Royal High Back Chair brings this tradition to life in solid dark teak wood. Our master craftsmen spent weeks carving the coat of arms backrest — the rearing lion supporters took the longest, each muscle and mane carved with reference-quality precision, the fleur-de-lis shield at the centre demanding perfect symmetry.
We chose to leave the teak in its natural dark finish — no gold leaf, no paint — because we wanted the wood itself to speak. Dark teak has a dignity and gravitas that ornamental finishes can obscure. This chair earns its authority through craft alone.
The lion paw feet complete the statement: this is not a chair that stops halfway. From crest to claw, every element of this throne is deliberate, masterful, and made to last. Handcrafted in India, delivered pan-India with pride.
